Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh blueberries, halved lengthwise
  • 1 cup (160g) ripe mango, peeled and diced into 1/4 inch cubes
  • 1 cup (140g) fresh pineapple, finely diced
  • 1 large (120g) banana, sliced into thin coins
  • 1 cup (150g) green grapes, quartered lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp (5ml) maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Carefully slice all fruits. Quarter the grapes and halve the blueberries lengthwise to eliminate choking hazards. Dice the mango and pineapple into consistent, pea-sized pieces to ensure they are easy for a toddler to manage.
  2. Place the prepared fruits into a non-reactive mixing bowl. Gently fold the fruit from the bottom up to prevent the softer fruits, like bananas and strawberries, from bruising.
  3. Whisk the orange juice, lime juice, and maple syrup in a small ramekin. Drizzle the mixture over the fruit and toss gently until glistening.
