Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh figs, stems removed and halved lengthwise
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, lemon juice, and cinnamon until the mixture is smooth and emulsified.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the halved figs cut-side up and spoon the honey mixture evenly over each fig, ensuring the center is well-coated.
  3. Roast for 12–15 minutes until the honey bubbles and the edges of the figs appear softened and mahogany-colored.
  4. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the top. Let rest for 2 minutes to allow the syrup to thicken.
