Ingredients:
- 2 oz high-rye bourbon
- 1 tbsp cranberry preserves
- 0.5 oz pure Grade A maple syrup
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 fresh rosemary sprig
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, cranberry preserves, maple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters. Drop in one cinnamon stick.
- Fill the shaker to the brim with large ice cubes. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker is frost-covered and the preserves have emulsified.
- Double-strain the mixture through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice to remove fruit solids and cinnamon shards.
- Slap a rosemary sprig against your palm to release aromatics and garnish the glass.
