Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp (5ml) lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 6 large (approx. 10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 12 oz (340g) thinly sliced deli turkey breast
  • 6 slices (approx. 150g) sharp cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 6 large Romaine lettuce leaves, patted dry
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt. Stir with a spatula until the mixture is velvety and no lumps remain.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat on your cutting board. Spread 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the surface, leaving a 1/2 inch border at the edges.
  3. Layer two slices of turkey, one slice of cheese, a piece of Romaine lettuce, and a thin tomato slice on top of the spread.
  4. Starting from the bottom, roll the tortilla tightly toward the top, applying firm pressure.
  5. Use a serrated knife to slice the roll into 1-inch rounds.
