Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp (15g) Superfine sugar
  • 1 tsp (5g) Maldon sea salt
  • 1 tsp Fresh grapefruit or lime zest
  • 2 oz (60ml) Premium Blanco Tequila
  • 0.5 oz (15ml) Triple Sec
  • 2 oz (60ml) Pink Lemonade
  • 0.75 oz (22ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Grenadine
  • 1 Fresh mint sprig
  • 1 Thin lemon or lime wheel

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crystalline Rim: Run a fresh lime wedge around the outer edge of a rocks or coupe glass. On a small plate, combine the superfine sugar, Maldon sea salt, and citrus zest. Roll the outside of the rim through the mixture and tap off excess.
  2. Combine Cocktail Base: In a cocktail shaker, add the blanco tequila, triple sec, pink lemonade, fresh lime juice, and grenadine.
  3. Shake: Fill the shaker 3/4 full with large, solid ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is frosted and extremely cold.
  4. Strain and Garnish: Double strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a thin citrus wheel.
