Ingredients:
- 2 cans (15 oz / 425g each) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the canned peaches and their syrup directly into the baking pan, spreading them evenly.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the peaches and lightly swirl with a spatula to distribute the spice.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the peaches. Use the back of a spoon to gently level the powder, but do not stir it into the fruit.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the cake mix, ensuring total coverage to prevent dry patches.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until the top is a deep golden brown and the peach syrup is bubbling up around the edges.
