Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (15 oz / 425g each) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the canned peaches and their syrup directly into the baking pan, spreading them evenly.
  2. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the peaches and lightly swirl with a spatula to distribute the spice.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the peaches. Use the back of a spoon to gently level the powder, but do not stir it into the fruit.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the cake mix, ensuring total coverage to prevent dry patches.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes until the top is a deep golden brown and the peach syrup is bubbling up around the edges.
