Ingredients:

  • 60ml Blanco Tequila (100% Agave)
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • 22ml homemade lavender simple syrup
  • 15ml Cointreau
  • 120ml filtered water
  • 100g granulated white sugar
  • 2 tbsp food-grade dried lavender buds
  • 1 strip lemon zest
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp crushed dried lavender buds
  • 1 fresh lemon wheel
  • 1 sprig fresh lavender

Instructions:

  1. Craft the Lavender Essence: In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of dried lavender. Bring to a gentle simmer until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add lemon zest, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and chill.
  2. Prepare the Glassware: Combine sea salt and crushed lavender on a plate. Rim the glass with a lemon wedge and dip into the lavender-salt mixture. Fill glass with fresh ice.
  3. Shake and Strain: Combine tequila, lemon juice, 22ml of the prepared lavender syrup, and Cointreau in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Double-strain into the prepared glass through a fine-mesh strainer.
