Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tbsp (12g) Chia seeds
  • 1 scoop (30g) Whey or Casein Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Sea salt
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Fresh berries
  • 1 tbsp Almond butter

Instructions:

  1. In a wide-mouth mason jar, combine the Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Whisk vigorously with a fork or small whisk until the protein powder is fully emulsified and no clumps remain.
  2. Add the protein powder to the wet ingredients and whisk until no dry clumps remain.
  3. Stir in the chia seeds.
  4. Add the rolled oats and cinnamon.
  5. Add a pinch of sea salt to sharpen the sweetness of the maple.
  6. Mix everything until the oats are fully submerged in the liquid.
  7. Seal the jar with a tight lid and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  8. In the morning, dollop almond butter on top. Don't mix this in overnight or it loses its distinct flavor.
  9. Finish with fresh berries until the jar looks vibrant and fresh.
  10. If it's too thick, add one splash of milk until it reaches your desired creaminess.
