Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 tbsp (12g) Chia seeds
- 1 scoop (30g) Whey or Casein Protein Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1/2 cup (120g) Plain Non-fat Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Fresh berries
- 1 tbsp Almond butter
Instructions:
- In a wide-mouth mason jar, combine the Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Whisk vigorously with a fork or small whisk until the protein powder is fully emulsified and no clumps remain.
- Add the protein powder to the wet ingredients and whisk until no dry clumps remain.
- Stir in the chia seeds.
- Add the rolled oats and cinnamon.
- Add a pinch of sea salt to sharpen the sweetness of the maple.
- Mix everything until the oats are fully submerged in the liquid.
- Seal the jar with a tight lid and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- In the morning, dollop almond butter on top. Don't mix this in overnight or it loses its distinct flavor.
- Finish with fresh berries until the jar looks vibrant and fresh.
- If it's too thick, add one splash of milk until it reaches your desired creaminess.
