Ingredients:
- 1 package (12 oz / 340g) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1.5 cups (170g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (113g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp (15ml) melted butter
- 1 tbsp (8g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp (1g) dried parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Using a serrated knife, slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create one large top piece and one large bottom piece.
- Place the bottom half in the pan. Layer the combined cheddar and mozzarella evenly across the bread.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder over the cheese, then replace the top slab of rolls.
- Brush the melted butter generously over the top of the rolls, ensuring it seeps into the crevices between the buns.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until the tops are mahogany-colored and the cheese is visibly bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes before slicing into individual Grilled Cheese Sandwich Bites.
