Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions:

  1. Squeeze your lemons and limes through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and excess pulp. Note: Fresh juice is non negotiable for that sharp flavor.
  2. Pour 4 cups of water into your pitcher or blender.
  3. Stir in 1/4 tsp of sea salt. Note: Don't overdo the salt or it'll taste like a brine.
  4. Add 1/3 cup of honey. Note: Use a liquid honey for easier mixing.
  5. Pour in your 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of lime juice.
  6. Whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until the honey is fully integrated and the salt disappears.
  7. If using a blender, pulse on low for 10 seconds until the mix looks uniform.
  8. Pour the mixture into a glass bottle.
  9. Refrigerate until ice cold, or pour immediately over ice cubes.
