Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1.5 oz cream of coconut
  • 4.5 oz lemon-lime soda
  • 1 tsp simple syrup
  • 1 tsp black sanding sugar
  • 1 marshmallow ghost peep

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the rim. Dip the edge of your glass into the simple syrup, then immediately into the black sanding sugar.
  2. Chill the vessel. Place the rimmed glass in the freezer for 2 minutes until the syrup sets firm.
  3. Measure the spirits. Pour 2 oz (60ml) of vanilla vodka into the bottom of the chilled glass.
  4. Add the cream. Pour 1.5 oz (45ml) of cream of coconut directly over the vodka.
  5. Gently combine. Stir the vodka and coconut together with a bar spoon until the mixture is silky and opaque.
  6. Add the ice. Carefully drop in 3-4 large ice cubes, being careful not to hit the sugar rim.
  7. Top with fizz. Slowly pour 4.5 oz (135ml) of lemon lime soda over the back of a spoon until the glass is nearly full.
  8. Watch the magic. Let the drink sit for 10 seconds until the white clouds begin to swirl upwards.
  9. Garnish the ghost. Place one marshmallow ghost peep on the rim or floating on top.
  10. Serve immediately. Hand it over while the carbonation is still active and the ghost is moving.
