Ingredients:

  • 2 slices (60g) whole grain or sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp (32g) crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 small (120g) banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp (21g) honey
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Set your toaster to a medium-high setting and toast the bread until the edges are a deep mahogany-colored gold and the surface feels firm.
  2. Remove the slices and place them side-by-side on a dry, flat plate. Let them rest for 30-60 seconds to allow internal steam to dissipate.
  3. Scoop a generous dollop of crunchy peanut butter onto the center of the toast. Using a wide-blade knife, glide the spread from the center toward the edges in a smooth, sweeping motion.
  4. Layer sliced banana on top of the peanut butter, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon and chia seeds.
