Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil

Instructions:

  1. Set up a breading station with three bowls: the first containing all-purpose flour whisked with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika; the second containing beaten eggs; and the third containing Panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces by tossing them in the seasoned flour (shaking off excess), dipping them into the egg wash, and pressing them firmly into the Panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry the chicken in a single layer for 3–4 minutes per side until a deep mahogany-gold color is achieved and the chicken is cooked through.
