Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup neutral oil
Instructions:
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: the first containing all-purpose flour whisked with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika; the second containing beaten eggs; and the third containing Panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat the chicken pieces by tossing them in the seasoned flour (shaking off excess), dipping them into the egg wash, and pressing them firmly into the Panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry the chicken in a single layer for 3–4 minutes per side until a deep mahogany-gold color is achieved and the chicken is cooked through.
