Instructions:
- Place 6 large eggs into the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring space for air circulation. For air fryers prone to hot spots, let cold eggs sit out for 5 minutes before air frying.
- Set the air fryer temperature to 270°F (132°C). Cook for 15 minutes for a classic hard-boiled texture.
- While the eggs cook, prepare a medium bowl filled with cold water and 2 cups of ice cubes.
- Immediately after the timer ends, use tongs to transfer the hot eggs into the prepared ice bath.
- Allow the eggs to sit in the ice bath for at least 10 minutes to stop the cooking process and ensure the membrane separates from the shell.
- Gently tap the eggs to crack the shell and peel under cool running water or inside the ice bath.
