Ingredients:

  • 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread 3/4 cup of marinara sauce across the bottom of a 9x13-inch ceramic or glass baking dish until the surface is fully coated.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer over the sauce. Don't worry if they overlap slightly, but try for a single layer.
  4. Top the ravioli with another 3/4 cup of marinara sauce and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese until the pasta is mostly covered.
  5. Repeat the layers: add the remaining frozen ravioli, the remaining marinara sauce, and a final generous blanket of mozzarella.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil until no steam can escape during the initial cook phase.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes with the foil on.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the layers set.
